MLA Places Nicole Lesani as General Counsel with Thrill One Sports & Entertainment

Hanover, MD (January 16^th, 2024) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced the placement of Nicole Lesani as general counsel for Thrill One Sports & Entertainment (“Thrill One”).  The search was led by Thanh Nguyen, managing director, Diego Ash, director, and Dave Beran, director, with MLA’s In-House Legal Recruiting group based in Los Angeles and Dallas respectively.

Thrill One is a next-generation content company that lives at the nexus of sports, entertainment and lifestyle. A multi-media platform founded in 2020, they are dedicated to creating sports events and original content, and boast one of the largest aggregate social audiences in action sports.

As general counsel, Nicole will manage all day-to-day legal and business affairs of Thrill One across all departments and business units, including media, intellectual property enforcement and protection, risk management and insurance, productions and operations, and general corporate and compliance.

“Nicole is well positioned to lead the legal charge at Thrill One, given her unique combination of in-house generalist legal experiences in entertainment, with a broad range of experiences spanning litigation, IP, insurance, legal operations, employment, and commercial matters,” said Thanh Nguyen.

Prior to joining Thrill One, Nicole’s most recent legal role was with Las Vegas Sands Corp. (“Las Vegas Sands”), where she served an 8-year tenure within their legal department, ultimately as vice president and senior associate general counsel.  As VP, AGC at Las Vegas Sands, Nicole oversaw a broad range of legal functions, including transactional agreements, intellectual property portfolio, litigation, employment, as well as served as the organization’s Data Privacy Officer, leading the global privacy team.  She began her legal career as a litigator with Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck in Las Vegas.
