MLA Places Hao Jin Yap as Head of Legal for AEG Asia

London, UK (October 26, 2023) —Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of Hao Jin Yap as Head of Legal for AEG Asia, a division of AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company. The search was conducted by Olivia Seet, partner, and Pooja Mahbubani, director, both with the In-House Counsel group in Singapore and Hong Kong. 

As Head of Legal for AEG Asia, Hao Jin will be responsible for legal matters for the APAC region and will play a crucial role in leading the legal function and working with the business as it continues its strong growth in the region.

Most recently, Hao Jin was Senior Legal Counsel (APSC) at Bridgestone Asia Pacific, where she served as a member of the Asia Pacific Sales Cluster management team, providing strategic advice to senior management whilst also leading and developing strategy for its legal and compliance matter.  Prior to this role, Hao Jin was in private practice at Drew & Napier LLC and Sim Chong LLC.

Hao Jin received her LLB from the National University of Singapore, is admitted to the Singapore bar and is an accredited mediator.
