MLA Places Megan E. Marshall as General Counsel at Medusind, Inc.

Hanover, MD (March 19th, 2024) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced the placement of Megan Marshall as general counsel of Medusind, Inc., a leading healthcare revenue management company and portfolio company of Alpine Investors.  The search was led by Amy Katz and Amber Shockey, both managing directors with MLA’s In House Counsel Recruiting team in Boston and  New York.  

As general counsel, Megan will provide global legal and compliance leadership for Medusind, with responsibility for delivering world-class, cost-effective, commercially focused, and accountable legal services for the organization. She will serve as a member of the leadership team, manage the legal and compliance teams, and provide strategic legal and business advice on a wide array of subjects.

Megan brings a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry, most recently with Guidehouse Inc. where she served as associate general counsel, global managed services & BPO. As the lead attorney and privacy counsel for Guidehouse’s global healthcare revenue cycle management practice, Megan served as the subject matter legal expert on revenue cycle, HIPAA privacy, data security, and other healthcare regulatory matters for the global consultancy organization.  Prior to this, she was senior corporate counsel with athenahealth, Inc. She began her legal career as in-house counsel with Commonwealth Communities, Inc.

Megan earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from Fairfield University, College of Arts and Sciences.
