MLA Places Joseph Braun as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Dorman Products

Hanover, MD (May 28, 2019) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of Joseph Braun as senior vice president and general counsel at Dorman Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: DORM) in Colmar, Pennsylvania. The search was led by managing directors Deborah Thompson and Elizabeth Long, both of MLA’s In-House Counsel Practice Group in Philadelphia.

In his new role, Joe will be responsible for providing counsel and guidance on all legal matters, including commercial transactions, corporate governance matters, SEC reporting, litigation, and acquisitions. Dorman Products, Inc. is a leading supplier of Dealer “Exclusive” replacement parts to the automotive, medium and heavy duty aftermarkets.

Before joining Dorman Products, Joe served as chief legal officer and corporate secretary for Avantor, Inc. Joe’s background also includes various leadership positions with Tyco International, including serving as vice president of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Tyco, Joe was an attorney with the firms Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Cozen O’Connor.  Joe earned his J.D. from Temple University and his B.S. from West Chester University.
