MLA Launches Board Services Practice

Hanover, MD – September 12, 2023 – Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal and board advisory search firm, has announced the launch of its Board Services practice, led by Keith Meyer as Global Practice Leader. The addition of the Board Services practice will deepen MLA’s capabilities in the corporate board space and allow the company to provide even more comprehensive offerings and service to clients. In addition to recruiting top talent for leading public and private company boards, the Board Practice, under the MLA brand, will work collaboratively with and advise board leadership, governance and nominating committees, CEOs, general counsel, and senior leadership teams on building successful, enduring enterprises.

Meyer has more than 20 years of global experience developing high-performing boards and senior leadership teams for Fortune 500, mid-cap and not-for-profit organizations. Before joining MLA, Keith was the global practice leader of Allegis Partners’ CEO and Board Practice, focusing on building diverse boards and leadership teams. Allegis Partners’ was formerly a member of the Allegis Group family of companies.

Additionally, Meyer is the Co-Founder and Leader of the Directors Academy, a national not-for-profit focused on accelerating the development of the next generation of diverse directors.  Under Meyer’s leadership, the Directors Academy has developed an extensive pipeline of board-ready diverse senior executives who have served on over 110 corporate boards following their participation in the Academy’s NextGen Directors program.
