MLA places Andrew Wright as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary with 3D Systems Corporation

Hanover, MD (September 10, 2024) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced the placement of Andrew Wright as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary with 3D Systems Corporation, the provider of 3D printers, materials and printed parts and application engineering services.  The search was conducted by Craig Donaldson and  Michael Schulklapper, managing directors with MLA's In-House Counsel Recruiting team in Charlotte and Los Angeles.

Drew will lead the company’s legal team, manage corporate governance matters, and collaborate with departments across the globe to manage legal risks. Reporting directly to the CEO, he will also serve as a member of the executive management team.

A proven legal and compliance executive in the technology sector, Drew joins 3D Systems from Akoustis Technologies, Inc. where he served as general counsel, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer for this Nasdaq-listed public startup technology company. Previously he was assistant general counsel with Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Inc. and site counsel with IBM corporation.  He began his legal career with Parker, Poe, Adams & Bernstein, L.L.P.

Drew earned his J.D. with honors from Duke University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Virginia.  He is a member of the North Carolina Bar and Tech GC.
