MLA Places James Segal as Vice President, Head of EMEA Legal at Herbalife Nutrition

Hanover, MD (March 10, 2020) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced the placement of James Segal as vice president and head of EMEA legal at Herbalife Nutrition. The search was led by Naveen Tuli and Arthi Cobb of MLA’s In-House Counsel group in London.

In this role, James will oversee the legal function throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, covering more than 50 countries including Russia and Mongolia. In addition, as a member of the global legal leadership team, he will lead the EMEA legal team and provide strategic support to this expanding business region.

James has more than 25 years of both in-house and private practice experience. Most recently, he served as corporate general counsel and deputy company secretary at IMI PLC. Prior to this, he was with Diageo plc for 14, years where he held general counsel roles to various business units including compliance, global supply and procurement, and global mergers and acquisitions.
