MLA Places Lisa Young as General Counsel of The Long-Term Stock Exchange

Hanover, MD (September 26, 2023) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of Lisa Young as general counsel at the Long-Term Stock Exchange, the SEC-registered national securities exchange built to serve companies and investors who share a long-term vision.  The search was led by Nicole Lipman, partner, and Ana Gorodetsky, managing director, in MLA’s In-House Counsel Recruiting group in San Francisco.  

Working closely with the chief executive officer, Lisa will, as general counsel, serve as the principal legal advisor to senior management and board of directors on a wide range of strategic, tactical, and transactional issues with overall responsibility for the vision and leadership of LTSE’s legal strategy.

Most recently, Lisa was general counsel and corporate secretary with Lending Tree, Inc. She also is former legal chief of the legal services provider Axiom and the financial technology company Enova International. Before that, she was assistant general counsel of JPMorgan Chase.  Before going in-house, she was a litigation associate at McGuire Woods, Hogan Lovells and Goldberg Kohn Ltd.  She co-founder of the ChiTechGC Network and serves on the board of advisors for IgniteADR.  Lisa is an active member of the Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago, serving on their board development committee and board of directors. 

Nicole earned her J.D., from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and her B.S. in electrical engineering from University of Notre Dame.
